Are you a young creator, crafter, or inventor between ages 6–18? Get ready — the 2026 Junior Entrepreneur Program at the White Rock Farmers’ Market is now open!
Each season, we welcome talented young entrepreneurs to set up their very own market booth and sell their handmade products – from jewelry and baking to art, plants, and beyond. It’s a fun and exciting way to:
- Learn real-world business skills
- Gain confidence talking to customers
- Make money doing what you love!

Junior Entrepreneur Awards
Investing in the Next Generation of Local Business Owners
The White Rock Farmers Market believes in supporting young entrepreneurs and helping them turn their ideas into successful businesses. This year, proceeds from our annual Customer Appreciation Day Raffle will fund the White Rock Farmers’ Market’s Junior Entrepreneur Scholarship Program, which recognizes outstanding young business owners participating in the Market. These scholarships provide financial support to help junior entrepreneurs grow their businesses while encouraging creativity, innovation, and community engagement.
Eligible Uses of Funding
Grant recipients may use funds for business-related expenses, including:
- Equipment and tools
- Supplies and materials
- Product development
- Marketing and advertising
- Signage and displays
- Packaging and branding
- Website development
- Other business growth initiatives
Who Can Apply?
All registered participants in the White Rock Farmers Market Junior Entrepreneur Program are eligible to apply.
How to Apply
Applicants may choose one of two options:
Option 1 – Written Application
Submit a one-page application that explains:
- Your business and what you sell
- What inspired you to start your business
- How you would use the grant funding
- Your future business goals
- Why participating in the Market is important to you
Option 2 – Presentation
Prepare a five-minute presentation covering the same topics and present it to a small selection committee.

Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated on:
✅ Passion and commitment
✅ Creativity and innovation
✅ Business planning and goal setting
✅ Community involvement
✅ Potential impact of the grant on the business
